We all thought that nuclear energy was a clean source of energy until we found out about the problem with disposing of the nuclear waste. Many thought of getting rid of it by dumping it into space, in the polar ice caps, oceans, and lands, until this genius invention surfaced. This is an engineering marvel that'll replace the rest of conventional energy sources. Made my day!

Reminiscing my young me with song that made me feel all my earthly pain fade elsewhere.

Life is so beautiful, and yet we seek it elsewhere. Trying to find happiness in materials and apparel that doesn't match the emotion hiding behind our faces.

Our perception of life is so wrong. We are so blinded by greed, jealousy, anger, and guilt that we unsee the beauty of life and happiness at our disposal. Without a second thought in my mind, for me real happiness is God, my family, my friends, and my music. These are the key elements for what and where I am today.

Amazing how I got spike in page views last 24 hours from Russia. This comes after my post about nuclear fallout and escape pods. My email and numbers have been a part of data breach several times. I know nothing is safe here, not even free cloud storage providers.

Nuclear escape pods will be selling like hot cakes in the future.

I don’t know any manufacturer making nuclear escape pods for commercial use. But I’m pretty sure someone will come up with the idea one day.

Because not every country has fallout shelters, as in the Sonnenberg tunnel, Switzerland (I don’t know if it’s still operational). But if it were in India, they'd harbor every politician of the ruling power and high profiles. Civilians won't stand a chance.

India may be the next epicentre.

India has been struggling to contain the pandemic since the first case was reported on January 30. TBH I am not creating a panic scene here, but what my intuition tells me with those statistics coming up on WHO and health ministry websites every day is fucking real. I collected some data from Wikipedia and the ministry of health and family welfare and came up with a graph and visual amid this lockdown.

I have graphed using Excel 2007 and collected primary data (as of 02 April 2020, 12:00 GMT +5:30) from sources as mentioned above.

Earlier in one of my videos, I explained how exponential growth works. It's how we calculate projections and is very accurate. Seeing India's density and health care, we may hit half a million by the end of June. Many believe we are in Stage 3 of the outbreak. Let's pray that the numbers do not double in the coming weeks because it would be a major problem, as the numbers are already high.

Did someone create the Covid-19? Scientists have already seen this coming.

Mysterious object spotted hovering in the skies of Diphu in an old photograph of late 60's.

I was hanging with Sarlongri the other day when we both spotted an unidentified object in the frame. "Wow, Longri, look at that! I think I just spotted a UFO. OMG!" Longri said, "It's not unusual!"

In the frame, an unidentified object can be seen on the right of the power transmission tower. Fact or fiction? It's your call. It's weird that UFOs have been spotted in recent years, and that is the least of our concern. 
       I have been waiting to be abducted by aliens since I started watching conspiracy videos of "real UFOs spotted in Nevada" and "real mermaids spotted in Denmark."

Leaning Tower of Nevyansk. Treasure map or Engineering blunder?

I had a dream of a leaning tower, a tomb, and a giant figurine of Jesus. I couldn't remember the exact date because I am not among those people who keep tracking their dreams. Yesterday while I was working on my computer, I searched for leaning towers around the world, and to my surprise, I saw the exact same tower. Wow! It's thousands of miles from here in Russia, and it did make its way to my dream astonishingly.

I sat there at my table wondering what my dream was trying to say. Then I remembered a story from The Alchemist. I came up with an idea and some drawings.

The lean angle from the base of the tower and with the same angle at the top will create an isosceles triangle at some distance. An observer will find that the tower is not leaning at that point. There may be something buried underneath, a treasure or perhaps some evidence of religious significance.

 

 The line joining the towers will sweep an area similar to that of an ellipse but with the plane tilted like our solar system. It's all a mystery!

Google to shut down G+ on April 2, 2019. RY*KiddingMe?

9 years have passed since I had my first Gmail account. The moment I bought home a personal computer, I had my Orkut, G+ and Twitter accounts done. Precisely in May 2011, when 4G didn't make any appearance in the market. The dealer I bought my PC had a forum in Orkut where members can download software without charges. I was doing bad in school because I had access to the forum and played games all the time. I didn't find it amusing spending time on Twitter, G+ or Orkut but watching *! Yes absolutely. But it was fun back then {I mean, slow internet}, because our phones had no WiFi hotspots; instead, we had Nokia PC suite that allowed computers to connect to the internet. Can you imagine using 2G cellular networks on a computer? We went through it.

      Recently Google announced it would shut down its G+ for consumer accounts. Part of me just died after reading this article on Yahoo. I designed my blog template with a +1 button, G+ followers, a badge, and share links. That's injustice.

No sound without silence

Friday, June 15: Since the 44th Karbi Youth Festival, my daily routine has been to get up at 5, clean myself, and set off for chores. As usual, the alarm woke me up today, and later I was off to my hotel. I got there and grabbed a bucket to fetch some water. It was about to rain. Minutes later I was exhausted and stood there for a while thinking about Russia's 5-0 win against Saudi Arabia last night. Soon it started raining heavily. I rushed for shelter, and then I saw a couple fighting verbally at a distance. I got inside my hotel with my tee drenched to the skin. I watched them through a peephole, hiding because I knew them both. The guy is my high school senior, and the girl is my neighbor currently studying in Delhi. I observed them for a while and then something terrible happened. The guy slapped her twice, and then there was a pause for like 10 seconds. Then they turned their backs and went their separate ways. The girl headed towards me. I was inside and could see her cry in the rain. She didn’t wipe it; she was bold and cried in a cool way. I just thought for a moment that if I were there, I could have stopped that guy. But then I thought, It's their personal issue, so it’s okay I stayed out of it. I was hurt and thinking that men are harsh (including me). Wondering why only women have to be the victims in almost every relationship. It’s absolute we have so many expectations from life, but at the same time, we should not disregard the difficulty coming our way. Because it's major bullshit when you look back at life after some point and regret going through years on that road. We can change. This moment, only this moment...

All you don't need to know about menstruation.

If you think guys don't need to talk about menstruation, please get some brains and come back. And to my friends who think it's okay, let's have a cup of tea.

       We all know that women bleed and it's natural. Menstruation is a part of women's lives. It's not something that one should be ashamed to talk about. But to understand that one should have a 'brain,' which these days is missing in most of the people. Our society is not scared but rather shy about giving every girl child a basic understanding of menstrual hygiene. There are so many NGOs and student organizations in Diphu, yet they remain unwilling to discuss health issues surrounding them. Some girls in rural areas don't go to school during periods because they can't afford to buy sanitary pads. I mean, why are we still quiet after knowing all the facts about what's happening with the lives of those schoolgirls? Why not provide NGOs with free pads instead of giving free condoms to the public in health awareness campaigns? Why not communicate regarding menstruation, especially before your daughter/niece/younger sister, etc., gets their first period to help ease their natural anxiety.

      In my HS final year, we had this wonderful chapter, 'Reproductive health'. It includes topics like- Reproductive health-Problems and strategies; Population explosion and birth control; Medical termination of pregnancy; Sexually transmitted diseases; And infertility. I was excited to learn and discuss this chapter like all my other horny male students in the class. But not because sexual health topic amuses me but I wanted to be a responsible person like every other and just not to self but as a son, brother, uncle or as a parent in future. Sadly we did not have a class in that chapter and I had to comprehend it all by myself. There is 'hiding behind the veil' culture going on in our schools, colleges, society and in many parts of India. You can see these days the internet is storming on such stupid ideas and beliefs. Some say a menstruating woman is impure, sick or even cursed. Honestly, I don't believe in these stupid myths, ideas, and beliefs. For me menstruation in women, to begin with, is a beautiful phenomenon. Though it is not a comfortable process to experience the beauty of it lies in the fact that it gives the female body, it's natural health and well being. Sex is something you can choose not to have but you can't avoid periods before menopause. And if anyone feels disgusted or feels like he/she shouldn't be talking about periods or what not, please fuck yourself and grow up.

BOOK REVIEW:: THE ALCHEMIST

I remember Steve Teron put in the picture about ‘The Alchemist.' He explained to me about 'the principle of favorability’ or 'the beginner’s luck’ but didn’t give any aspects of the book, which held my interest. At that moment I learned that he is a type of person who loves reading novels. Besides, he keeps a keen interest in writing songs and moderating comments on social media. We shared many common interests, and whenever we had time, we discussed concerns and no-nonsense. However, we end up talking irrelevant stories sometimes that do not last long because we both have a low tolerance for bullshit. At the present, he is doing remarkably, and I’m happy that his hotel keeps him on the go all the time (laughs)….

        I read “The Alchemist” after a friend of mine (Urmi Tissopi) recommended the book to me. She gave me this amazing book while we were heading back home from Gauhati and I totally agreed that it is a must-read. After spending hours on this book, I guess I was finally ready to grasp the deeper message about following our hearts. It is a simple lesson, yet many people do not understand that they need to live their own lives. The main point I took from the book was that we should follow our heart and trust our instinct. There is so much that we still need to learn about each other and about ourselves. So many things are possible, and we have a long way to go before reaching our goal. Indeed, Santiago’s journey only made sense at the end of the book.

        It really is one of the most amazing stories told, and everywhere I go, people still talk about this amazing little book. Especially, I like the thing about mistakes because I know it from my own experience. “Mistakes have to be made in order to make progress." I really enjoyed reading 'The Alchemist.' 10/10

This is me hitting a new low.

I think I won’t be able to make it through this semester. I am at the point right now where I hardly care if I study anymore. I know I should, but my concentration is absolutely gone. I’m tired, I’m frustrated, and I really want to punch a wall right now. I’ve spent the entire months from July to November driving as a part-time job. My books on the table are all covered with dust. I don’t have the goddamn time. I’m constantly wearing dirty clothes every day. My room is a wreck and all messed up. Life is so hard for me right now. I just want to pause and get a moment to breathe, but it’s so fucking hard. As soon as one thing is over, I have a new thing to worry about. My only goal for this semester is to complete all my papers. I think I'd like to wake up now and bring some serious changes in life.

Thank you, Teacher (Teacher's Day Special)

       Thank you, LKG teacher, for you taught me the ABCs, the 123s, and of course the countless nursery rhymes. You were my first teacher, my guide, and an angel in disguise. I don’t remember how good or bad your voice was, but I do remember how you would patiently sing us all the nursery rhymes in your softest voice. So, thank you for teaching me how not to cry every time my mom leaves my sight and for believing in me.

       Thank you, English teacher, for today. I’m here because of you. Though I was never the best student in your class, I would still sit quietly in the corner listening to every word {I must have missed some while taking naps in between} you said. I know how cruel the world is and that there are so many people out there who are waiting just to pounce on us with their ‘know everything’ face when we forget to put even a full stop in our sentence. I can’t imagine what it would’ve been like if I’d not heeded your advice back then, even when nobody was ready to. So, thank you for saving me from all those grammar Nazis, or so they call themselves. Now that I mentioned all these, I bet there will still be someone out there reading this and scrutinizing each and every sentence with their sharp eagle eyes.

        Thank you, Math teacher, for you taught me how to count and check whether I still have all my ten fingers intact or not. Though I never really liked math, I still enjoyed sitting in your class because I enjoyed watching you give names to students who couldn’t cross the ‘zero scores' bar, and luckily for me, I wasn’t among them, so I didn’t have to go through all those humiliating moments. Though I never got to use all your formulas and solutions, I just wanted to say thank you, for without you I would never have crossed high school.

        Thank you, science teacher, for you taught me that there is still hope for me as long as I sit under a tree and wait for the apple to drop whenever I run out of ideas. You help me understand how boys and girls are complicated in their own ways and why they never seem to like the same things. You taught me why we can never fly like the birds because of the so-called gravity. I just wish you had taught me how to get wings at least, though. But I still want to say thank you, for without you I would never have been where I am today now.

        Thank you, social science teacher; for me, you taught me that history is not just about dates. You helped me realize that Gauhati was just a dot on the world map and that more than 50% of the people still don’t know where Assam really is. You taught me how to draw the India map, though I still get confused about where all the states are located on the map. And though you failed to convince me to like political science, deep down in my heart I’m grateful because I can’t imagine myself getting involved in the mess. So, thank you for that.

         Thank you, Hindi teacher, for you taught me how to score good marks in Hindi even when I didn’t understand half the lesson by letting me know that there was still hope if I had my memorizing game on. Though I would never understand why writing is never easier than reading them out, I’m still glad I can read at least. I never became a fluent Hindi speaker, but I thank you for at least helping me remember the basics.

        Thank you, drawing teacher, for your class was the only class we looked forward to with eagerness. You taught me how to draw the apple or the ball or the beautiful scenery. You were my inspiration, and at one point you even had me wanting to be like you and draw all those perfect drawings. Thank you; for today I like art because of you.

          We may no longer be students or attending high school, but still, we remember our teachers who molded and shaped us. Take time to appreciate them, for they are the reason for who you are and where you are today.

How do you process pain?

Today at 7 AM I woke up feeling ill but decided I needed the money, so I went in to drive a rickshaw. I am doing this because I have a feeling that this would be a learning experience for me. Honestly, asking for money from my parents hasn't occurred to me since I was 18. At 4 PM I got laid off, and I was so sad because I had missed all my classes. Every day I park my rickshaw near the outpost. In the beginning, I was shy because many people were familiar, but I imagined the world differently and kept going. In the evening on my way home, I got a flat tire. When I went to the trunk for a spare, it was flat too. I left my cell phone at home, and I couldn't make calls. I was so helpless; I cried alone for a while. I also provoked God about the situation. But I knew it was not his fault. There was no P.C.O. nearby or any rickshaw coming. Minutes later, a man in a Bolero pulled over and gave me a ride. He asked me where I was from, my qualifications, my academic results, and many more details. He told me little about himself and added that he was an employee at the S.B.I. Diphu branch. I was surprised when he offered me a job. And I felt terrible refusing him. I told him politely that I aimed for something else in life. He gave me his business card and asked my address. He is visiting me tomorrow.
